The Elevated Audio Guarantee

Please note that Elevated Audio, Inc. carries most major brands and we offer a comprehensive warranty that will help protect you and your new investment. We are an authorized dealer for every brand we offer, which means you will be covered by the full manufacturer’s warranty on all equipment purchased.​

When you purchase equipment from Elevated Audio you are entitled to all of the perks of our Complete Package.

Elevated Audio’s Complete Package Includes:​

  • Full Warranty Coverage: Elevated Audio offers a complimentary service in which we personally complete any warranty process for you. This covers the cost of diagnostics, uninstallation, shipping to the manufacturer, and reinstallation of your repaired product at no extra charge to you. This service is completely free for the full length of the manufacturer’s warranty. With our lifetime installation warranty, you will also have the added value of knowing that our work is free of defects for as long as you own the vehicle. If a problem arises due to improper installation diagnostics and repair will be covered by Elevated Audio, Inc.*
  • Full Product Compatibility: We take pride in knowing that we offer the best product at the best price. Additionally, we are committed to only offer equipment that will fit into your vehicle with little or no modification. Many hours are spent researching new vehicles each year in order to fully understand your new stereo layout. If you own a rare car or have specific needs, a free consultation may be arranged.
  • Back to Factory Guarantee: With your new standard head unit purchase, you will receive our service to remove your aftermarket stereo and reinstall the original should you decide to sell your vehicle or in the unfortunate event of an accident. This is offered to our customers at no charge. You will ALWAYS receive your old equipment along with all packaging of new product after our work is complete.**
  • Free CD Removal: Most of the time you will have a CD or two stuck in your factory stereo which may be one of the reasons for replacement. We will disassemble your stereo and remove your favorite CDs at no extra charge.***
  • Full Product Demo: We know how frustrating it can be to not know how to operate your new device. We will sit with you for as long as you need to fully understand your new equipment! Tech support is also included should you have any questions down the road. We also pre-program your new stereo with the date and time along with all of your favorite radio presets to ensure you don’t miss a beat!

Customer-owned equipment policy

Installation of Customer Owned Equipment and general troubleshooting are billed at our standard hourly rate, however, time estimates are generally increased due to potential unfamiliarity of the proposed equipment. Please read carefully, as there is a different installation policy from our full coverage policy.

We are an authorized dealer for every brand we offer, which means you will be covered by the full manufacturers warranty on all equipment purchased. We understand that you may already own the product you wish to have installed.​

Features NOT INCLUDED with customer-owned equipment installations.

  • Full-service warranty during manufacturer’s warranty period is not included when you purchase from a dealer other than Elevated Audio.
  • Should an issue arise with your newly purchased equipment, we will assist in the removal and reinstallation billed at our standard hourly rate of $150/hour.
    Product demonstration is not included in service when we install equipment that is purchased from another dealer.
  • Free CD removal is not included if your current stereo has stuck CDs located within. Standard rate $80 when replacing stereo with new unit.
  • Back to Factory Guarantee will be billed at our standard $150/hour rate if you would like us to pull your new stereo from the vehicle in the event of a vehicle sale or insurance buy-back.​

Customer Owned Equipment Policy (COEP)​​

When purchasing products from dealers other than Elevated Audio:

Elevated Audio will require 1-hour labor charge in advance for any warranty work. If the issue is determined to be caused by installation then the 1 hour labor charge will be refunded.

If any equipment is not compatible with vehicle or other Customer Owned Equipment at the time of installation the customer will be responsible for obtaining the correct product.

Elevated Audio may charge extra for time spent researching product that is Customer Owned Equipment to ensure compatibility with other components and proper installation. This applies to equipment recommended by Elevated Audio originally and then purchased elsewhere prior to installation. The minimum recommendation charge is $75.

Customers will be responsible for all costs associated with troubleshooting and exchanging defective products. This cost will be determined by our current hourly installation rate with a one-hour minimum charge.

Elevated Audio will not be held liable for any damages to installation, equipment, or vehicle caused by defective equipment.

Elevated Audio may charge an additional fee for testing used equipment prior to installation if the working state of the equipment is in question.

Customer-owned equipment that Elevated Audio will not install includes the following:

    • Used component speaker sets.
      Amplifier installation kits.
      Sound deadening material.
      Integrated radar systems.
      Backup camera systems.
      Any brand not currently offered by Elevated Audio, Inc.
      ANY remote start or alarm system.
      We will not install the following brands – BOSS, Pyle, Lanzar, Esky, Jensen, Pyramid, Dual, Planet Audio, and others.

*Installation warranty may be voided if the following occurs:

  • If any person modifies original install in any way.
  • If problem is caused by vehicle malfunction.
  • If any person deliberately, or accidentally, damages or alters original installation.
  • If problem occurs after vehicle has been involved in an accident or has had recent engine or body repair.
  • If original installation has been serviced by any person other than an Elevated Audio employee.
  • If any new equipment has been added to the vehicle which was not installed by Elevated Audio.

If any of the following conditions are determined to be the cause of issue then customer will be held liable for all costs associated with repair. This cost will be determined by our current hourly installation rate with a one-hour minimum charge. A trip charge of two dollars per mile may also be billed to compensate for travel time and costs. Customer will also be liable for the cost of replacement parts should they need to be replaced.

Installation warranty is non-transferable.

**Only applies to installations where factory amplifiers or modifications of vehicle were not part of original install. Applies to non-touchscreen units only. All other uninstallation services will be billed at half the cost of original install. Trip charge may be applied if vehicle is outside of service area.

***Will be offered in conjunction with aftermarket stereo purchase. Internal CD charger mechanisms will be damaged during the process of CD removal.
