FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE

It’s important to us to start with a consultation where we go over all specifics of your vehicle and build the system that will work best for your driving habits. By asking questions like “Do you drive back-roads or highways more often?” will ensure your K40 system will not be overkill for your needs.
VEHICLE PROTECTION
Upon approval of system needs we begin the most important task. We start by protecting the vehicle in all areas where we will touch. This includes steering wheel, seats, bumpers, and fenders. We are not in the business of destroying cars so we take precautions to ensure we avoid any accidents.
WIRING THE SYSTEM
To ensure long lasting performance, we solder all electrical connections for K40 systems. In fact, we solder 99% of all connections made at Elevated Audio. Wire protection comes next. This is where we utilize Tesa (NOT TESLA!) high performance automotive tapes. These tapes are awesome and are the same type of tape used in most European vehicles and your Tesla.
We believe that if the manufacturer believes in spending money on wrapping every wire in this expensive tape then there must be a good reason we should too! So that’s just what we do.
MOUNTING THE SYSTEM
Since there’s nothing worse than driving down the road with things hanging off your vehicle we ensure all hardware is mounted according to manufacturer specs. Most of the time we fabricate mounts for the hardware that provide a steady and strong surface for the K40 Radar and Optix sensors to mount onto.
TESTING THE SYSTEM
Some of you may have a radar gun laying around the house to catch the speed of your son’s fastball but most of us do not have a LIDAR gun laying around! Elevated Audio is one of a very small number of shops across the country that has a dedicated test gun to ensure all systems work as promised. This is the most fun we get to have! When we see our customers smile after shooting their own vehicle to see the speed reading (or potential lack thereof) we know we at Elevated Audio and K40 have, once again, delivered on our promise.
