This Tiguan came equipped with the Fender system from the factory, not a bad place to start. One way to accomplish this is through sound dampening. Sound dampening has a number of advantages, including but not limited to: a reduction in rattles and vibrations, lays the foundation for future audio upgrades, Sound Shield will also help reduce road noise inside the vehicle, along with so much more! This 1996 Porsche 911 (993) was such a joy to work on, the vehicle is in mint condition with only 35k original miles.  As impressive as Porsche’s are, they leave a lot to be desired in the audio department.  Some may say, the sounds of the Porsche are all you need to hear while driving this vehicle; however, we beg to differ.  Now, not only can  our client enjoy driving he beautiful Porsche, he can enjoy crisp, high-fidelity music while doing so, if he so chooses. WHY?  A returning customer contacted us with a new vehicle of his looking to improve the sound system, without being intrusive on the vehicle.  We had previously installed a full audio system in his Ford Raptor, which he enjoyed before eventually selling that vehicle.  Although he enjoyed that system, he wanted something more refined for this new vehicle, a 2018 Mercedes Benz G550. He recently purchased this G550 and the factory audio system was lacking clarity, depth, and impact, everything just sounded good enough.  We decided to focus our attention on improving the front stage in the vehicle since the rear seat was rarely going to be utilized.  We were able to design a system that provided high-fidelity audio, without sacrificing space or altering the appearance of the vehicle’s interior. A recent poll asked members of a popular car enthusiast group the following question – ” What ONE piece of stereo equipment could you add or upgrade in your vehicle to achieve the most noticeable difference in your quest of better audio?” The results showed me that, as a leading shop in our industry, we have our work cut out for us in educating most customers that schedule an audio design consultation with us. There were four options to choose from: speakers, stereo, DSP, and amplifiers. The results: 42% of vote to Speakers 33% of vote to Stereo 17% of vote to DSP 8% of vote to Amplifiers Now, while all of the choices above would play a role in effecting the audio quality, there is one that I believe makes the most noticeable difference hands down.
