After working for local chain stores in Denver for 8 years, Andrew Woodward started Elevated Audio in 2013. He saw that large retailers could not adequately meet customer needs or provide an exceptional audio installation experience. He knew that he could do better. He believed that he could bring additional value to the customer experience and provide a phenomenal experience.

It all began with humble beginnings with mobile installs and a shop in Andrew’s garage. Installs were completed across Denver in weather that spanned from 0 degrees to 100 degrees to ensure jobs were completed on time, as promised to customers. In the first three years of business, Andrew would consistently work 16 hours a day, 7 days a week to save up enough for a local shop that could provide a good place for customers and employees to spend their time.

As online reviews rolled in and business started booking two months in advance, Andrew decided it was time to expand and bring on additional staff. He knew that by hiring talented staff members he could continue to improve the customer experience. It was at this time that he decided against the industry-standard commission-based pay structure to ensure that work was completed properly, keep the customer’s interest in mind, and to protect employees from fluctuation in pay based on seasonal trends in the market.
