WHY? This 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan came to us looking to improve the sound in the vehicle, without breaking the bank. This Tiguan came equipped with the Fender system from the factory, not a bad place to start. One way to accomplish this is through sound dampening. Sound dampening has a number of advantages, including but not limited to: a reduction in rattles and vibrations, lays the foundation for future audio upgrades, Sound Shield will also help reduce road noise inside the vehicle, along with so much more! We recommend sound dampening in every vehicle, as the added sound dampening will improve the acoustic environment that is the vehicle. This 1996 Porsche 911 (993) was such a joy to work on, the vehicle is in mint condition with only 35k original miles.  As impressive as Porsche’s are, they leave a lot to be desired in the audio department.  Some may say, the sounds of the Porsche are all you need to hear while driving this vehicle; however, we beg to differ.  Now, not only can  our client enjoy driving he beautiful Porsche, he can enjoy crisp, high-fidelity music while doing so, if he so chooses. WHY?  A returning customer contacted us with a new vehicle of his looking to improve the sound system, without being intrusive on the vehicle.  We had previously installed a full audio system in his Ford Raptor, which he enjoyed before eventually selling that vehicle.  Although he enjoyed that system, he wanted something more refined for this new vehicle, a 2018 Mercedes Benz G550. He recently purchased this G550 and the factory audio system was lacking clarity, depth, and impact, everything just sounded good enough.  We decided to focus our attention on improving the front stage in the vehicle since the rear seat was rarely going to be utilized.  We were able to design a system that provided high-fidelity audio, without sacrificing space or altering the appearance of the vehicle’s interior. WHY? This customer contacted us after purchasing his new vehicle, because the factory Bang & Olufsen in his Audi RS5 was lacking impactful, low-end bass.  We had previously worked on his Ford truck, in which we performed a larger upgrade; however, the Bang & Olufsen system in this Audi sounded great besides the lack of bass. During the free phone consultation, our System Designer, Don, was able to suggest the products that would serve our customer and meet all their needs.  This system was actually designed during the Colorado stay-at-home period, so coming into the shop for a traditional in-person consult was not an option. WHAT? Added a mono amplifier – We used the JL Audio XD600/1v2 to power the subwoofer in this setup. This is one of our go-to amplifiers for a few different reasons. WHY?  Our client with this Chevrolet Colorado came to us looking for an audio upgrade, not knowing exactly what he was looking for in terms of an audio experience.  We discussed some options over the phone during the quarantine period and decided on a basic upgrade consisting of new front and rear speakers, a modest bass addition, and a 5-channel amp to run the entire system.
